Dr. Jerry Popham
M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Popham began the private practice of oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery in Denver after completing his fellowship training at Harvard Medical School in Boston. He is the founder of Park Avenue OculoPlastic Surgeons, PC.
Dr. Popham has been recognized as Colorado’s best plastic surgery – blepharoplasty surgeon in Denver’s 5280 Magazine on five separate occasions. He was also named in 5280 Magazine as one of the top BOTOX® doctors in Denver and is a member of the National Educational Faculty for Botox. He has been recognized as one of the Best Doctors in America on twelve occasions.
Dr. Popham is the recipient of the Achievement Award of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Outstanding Young Ophthalmologist Award of the Colorado Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Popham is also committed to serving the medical needs of the poor. As the founder and team leader of About Face Foundation, a non-profit organization, he leads a team of physicians and nurses annually to Hoi An, Vietnam, where American surgeons collaborate with Vietnamese surgeons to perform facial reconstructive surgeries for indigent Vietnamese children.
Dr. Yash Vaishnav
M.D
Dr. Yash Vaishnav was born in Mountain View, California. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California San Diego, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Physiology & Neuroscience. He received his M.D. from the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University in North Haven, CT, graduating as the Top Performer in Internal Medicine and with High Distinction for Basic, Clinical and Translational Research for his work in corneal image analysis.
He completed his Transitional Year Internship at Northwell Health in Port Jefferson, NY, followed by his Ophthalmology Residency at Brown University in Providence, RI, where he received awards for his research in orbital oncology and for Excellence in Teaching from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
During his residency, Dr. Vaishnav developed a particular passion for oculoplastics, and upon completing residency he continued his training with a 2-year ASOPRS-accredited fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He is excited to now bring his expertise to Park Avenue Oculoplastic Surgeons here in Denver.
Dr. Vaishnav’s professional interests include comprehensive periorbital rejuvenation, cosmetic and functional blepharoplasty, endoscopic forehead lifting, laser skin resurfacing, skin cancer reconstruction, endoscopic lacrimal surgery, neuromodulator, soft tissue filler and orbital surgery. Outside of medicine, he enjoys swimming, running, practicing vinyasa yoga, and spending time with his wife and infant son.
